mundaka is a beautiful and historic town and famous surf spot located in the province of Biscay, in the Basque Country of northern Spain. Now it is also the new Spanish-style, tapas-centric restaurant in downtown Carmel. The kitchen is headed by one of the area's top chefs — Brandon Miller (formerly of Stokes), with the menu featuring daily selections of authentic Spanish-style tapas. We offer an extensive wine list, including many Spanish wines, and more from around the world.
The decor uses sustainable, recycled products. In fact, Mundaka is sustainable from floor to ceiling; the entire remodel was done using reclaimed materials. Check out Mundaka in the news.
